PRIVATE LESSONS
Aside from being on staff at the Carrborro Music Studio and the Cary School of Music, I have maintained a private teaching studio in the Durham and Chapel Hill vicinity for the past 4 years. In my teachings, I try to focus on the PAS rudiments, proper technique, reading ability, and general musicality involving the drum set. An emphasis on listening to and playing along with real music is essential to studying any instrument. I customize lessons according to the ability and goals of individual students. In order to inquire about drum lessons, please contact me to check availability at either music school or my home studio and discuss prices for half hour and hour long sessions. I am flexible in traveling to the student’s house if need be.
